I teach two courses per semester. Each course involves student-led fieldtrips, rock and thin section interrogation, a blend of lecture- and inquiry-based learning techniques, and projects aimed at developing research and presentation skills. My courses incorporate research being done in my research group (see research tab) to highlight how concepts discussed in class may be applied to real geologic problems. Courses taught (click for descriptions) GEOL/ENVI 160 (Dynamic Earth and Global Change) GEOL 255 (Structural Geology) GEOL 304 (Tectonics) GEOL 394 (Geophysics) |
